About Now and Then and Whenever
Post 374:
I know a dude that talks about the good old days and means it.
I’m friendly with a lady who’s always on about progress and how the future flushes her cheeks with hope.
Then there’s the obligatory yokel that says it’s all about living in the moment.
I personally take all three perspectives. The old scenes were awesome but they also had the bubonic plague. The present literally is all that’s real—but that’s philosophy and whatnot.
Boring.
The future is blooming with possibilities, but there’s missteps and falls and surviving and all the rest.
What we value and take to heart matters, and I think it’s cool to live mixing now and then and whenever. We probably do it naturally, but leave it for me to point out what normal people don’t bother bothering themselves with.
Cheers. See you after.
