About Context and Crazy
Post 414:
I’m coming off a weekend of being back home, hanging with my oldest and closest friends, times of revelry and good cheer.
We also played golf.
I have a strange relationship with golf. It’s something I love doing while being angry and upset the entire time I’m doing it. As far as working on my game, haven’t done it in years. So… I shouldn’t take it seriously.
This is something I know. A truth.
And yet, there I was, getting mad, giving my friends the chance to mock and deride my complete lack of emotional control.
I just hate sucking.
This is a good thing when it’s something you do all the time. Shouldn’t suck at that. If it’s your first swing in six months, then you’re crazy. Irrational. Irascible. Other I words. Context. And remember, the crazy that builds that next thing and creates other next things is the same crazy that can make you look like an idiot on the proverbial or actual golf course.
Something to keep in my mind. See you after. Cheers lunatics.
