About The Man in the 240 Pages (Some Spoilers. Yay!!!!!!!!!)
Post 705:
I could be wrong here, but it’s hard to get four seasons of television out of 240 pages. That’s how long The Man in the High Castle is. Yeah, it’s a book. It came out in the 1960’s. First off, Mr. Dick, the writer, should be super ticked. It’s like they waited for him to go to Heaven, then started making adaptations of all his stuff. I could do a list, but if it’s good science fiction, there’s like a twenty percent chance someone’s ripping off Philip K. Dick.
Anyway, I’m doing my best here with the final season. I have to say, the premise is great, but I think they’ve milked it. I’ll watch it anyway, because it’s pretty good, and I want to see how they choose to wrap it. It was kind of weird that old Joe died; I feel like he was meant to do something besides bleed out, but whatever, alternate timelines, so anything’s possible. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The thing about making anything possible: It can be confusing. I went into season four feeling like I needed a serious refresher course. A couple things I do remember. Jules is hot and talks very gently even when she’s mad or upset or killing people. Also, Nazis in any timeline suck.
I think that’s all you need. Enjoy it. I haven’t seen the end, either, so this is more like a review than a review, if that makes sense. It doesn’t? Neither does this show!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers and see you after.
